5 Year goals

Hi, being that 2010 is now upon us and I am about to go at it again with my studies, I would like to share my goals over the next 5 years.
Warning they are lofty but we all have to stretch to get to where we want to go!!!!!!!!!

Minor goals

  1. 1. I will have won a national and international jewellery design competition.
  2. 2. I have Exhibit pieces in both Melbourne and Sydney Galleries (completed Nov/December 2009)
  3. 3. I will hold solo exhibits in both Melbourne and Sydney Galleries
  4. 4. I will complete my Advanced Diploma with an average pass rate of 95% (passed first year with average of 93%)
  5. 5. My jewellery will be on the catwalk for Melbourne Cup Fashion on the Fields

Major goals

  1. 1. My jewellery will be worn on red carpet for the: a. Oscars’ /b. Emmys’ /c. Australian Arias’
  2. 2. I will have designed and sold a range of commercial pieces to “Prouds” (the company my grandfather worked for, for 20 years).
  3. 3. I will have a commercially set up studio with additional space to support upcoming jewellery students.

this wooden ring is very comfortable and features a recycled antique marquise shaped stone.

It has been finely sanded to bring out the grain of the wood and finished with shellac.

What a great week. I have just been to the A & E Metals "Explorations 09" exhibit at Guildford Gallery Melbourne, Wow - I feel very honoured to have one of my pieces within the exhibit.

Inspired by a colour wheel, each claw holds a different coloured created brilliant cut gem.

The wheel spins giving you the opportunity to dial up your favourite colour or a colour to suit your mood.

Gems: 3 mm Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple and Clear.
All set in Sterling Silver 925 High polish finish.
piece sits approx 25mm above finger.

this is an exploration of the Celtic symbol - 4 Seasons
The story I have created is big and bold with a touch of tradition

The Story is a one off creation and will retail for $1,600.

Large Brooch is light and perfect for light clothing
all pieces are Sterling Silver 925 and oxidised to highlight the Celtic knot.

This is a classic gents ring, highlighting a snowflake Abyssinian on a cast ring of sterling silver.

A Garden Walk


I enjoyed creating this piece, and was the result of all I had learned in my first term at Box Hill. The piece transforms from a pendant to a bracelet.

It is currently on show within the A & E Metal Merchants fourth annual survey exhibition, “Explorations 09”.
